Hiatus

So I guess you can say I have been on a blogging hiatus. Not that I am back again for any amount of time, but I thought I would write a little post.

If you haven't heard, I'm pregnant! Yeah - kind of! I get pretty sick to say the least. So if you don't see me for a couple of months, just know I am praying to the porcelain gods and trying to stay hydrated at least. Hopefully this will pass quicker than with the last two and I will soon be back a part of the world. I am due 10,000 years from now (that's how long it seems anyways). Baby Kapp will come sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas but not on either of those days! I know, that is next winter - didn't winter just end??? We are excited though!

Elise is ecstatic as you can imagine! She rubs my belly and kisses it good night. She is constantly asking questions. Like: What time and day exactly will the baby come out? Why is the baby naked in my tummy? How big is the baby today (everyday this is asked)? And many more that are a bit personal! She can't wait especially for my tummy to be HUGE!! Won't that be so fun!

Chris has been the mom and the dad for a few weeks now. He is doing everything! He is looking tired for it too! I am so blessed that he is willing to do so much for our little family!

Most important is trying to stay happy and positive through all of this. I am tired and feel green all the time. Then comes all the other sick problems. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!!

Congratulations! I remember how sick you get, no fun. I hope you find some tricks to help you feel better (or some good medicine!).

Love you!

Not sure what you're tried, but I have friends who get sick like you do. They've tried a pretty heavy duty med used for chemo patients. Has done nothing for the chemo patients, but my prego friends say it so works for them. Also nausea wristbands used for seasickness I think. Hope this will pass for you and you'll feel better. What a good hubby you have and such sweet girls to watch out for you. Wish we lived closer to help out! :)

No wonder I haven't seen you around! I am so sorry you are sick. Been there...it is no fun at all. And I personally tried everything there is out there...including hospital stays and medicines there...sometimes the only thing that works is time...great motto - you can do it! Congrats too!

So Elise got her New Year's wish after all... congrats! Now you & Janna can compare stories of your pickles & peanut butter cravings... how fun for both of you. Maybe you should have Randy help out with your kids, he could use some training...

Congratulations Jenny! I really feel for you - I get so sick too! (I'm waiting to start trying for #4 when the kids go back to school so that when things fall apart around here, at least they'll be gone half the day!) We'll have to have Elise over to play this summer.
p.s. I don't know if you've tried taking 1/2 a unisom with vitamin b6 but it sort of worked with Carter for the nausea!

I think I'm right up there with Elise on the excitment. I'm just so very happy for you. Hey just so you know my kids are out of school on the 27th so any time after that if you want me to come get Elise I would love to.

Are you serious? This isn't just some late April fool's joke right? Congrats, that's awesome! I'm sorry for the sickness though, I feel your pain. Hope your doctor has given you some Zofran! That's fun that Elise is so involved and asking so many questions. Just keep going...I know the sick time is hard, so I hope it passes for you soon. Good hubbies make all the difference during that time too!

Congrats on the prego part but no so much on the yucky sickness part! Elise cracks me up...it's going to be a very long pregnancy if she asks the exact day and time the babe is coming out ;) That's hilarious! Hang in there!
